Please reach us at caren@mypathtoserenity.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Consider these questions. A yes to any can mean it would be helpful to speak to someone. Therapy is all about what you need, which can be validation, direction, new skills, new perspective, relief from anxiety, and much more.
- Have you experienced a painful loss recently?
- Have you been feeling sad, confused, overwhelmed, or just not yourself lately?
- Do you feel anxious, afraid, or ashamed?
- Have you been unable to enjoy normal activities lately?
- Have friends or family made comments about your affect or behavior lately?
- Have you had issues with sleep?
- Do you find that your relationship with food or other behaviors are a distraction from a difficult issue in your life?
- Have you been staying to yourself more than normal?
- Could you use a sounding board for the direction of your life, your relationships, or to find meaning in life?

I have a cancellation policy stipulated in my Consent for Services Agreement. I always want to extend grace and understanding. I have found, however, that it is difficult to maintain an efficient work atmosphere when I am unable to prepare for changes ahead.
Should you need to cancel with less that 24 hours notice, there will be no charge for the 1st occurrence. For subsequent occurrences, you will be charged the full fee out of pocket. Insurance does not pay for cancelled appointments. You may be required to pay ahead of the session after the 2nd occurrence of late cancellations.
